Sarkodie was on heat last night at the History In the Making concert. The rapper did not joke from the start of his performance till he left the stage.
The iconic Apollo Theatre in New York on Saturday came alive with a sold out concert featuring Sarkodie and some of Ghana and Africa’s biggest stars, appropriately tagged #SarkodieHistoryInTheMaking. Present on stage were most of the advertised artists including Kwaw Kese, Bisa Kdei, EL, Banky W and more. Together, they thrilled patrons of the 1500 capacity hall to the best of Afrobeats.
Disappointingly, Joey B, Pappykojo, Efya, Ice Prince, Samini, Obrafour and others couldn’t make it due to reasons ranging from travel documents and schedules. The show was hosted by Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo with music by DJ Mensah. The Apollo Theater is a venue noted for African-American performers
