The victim by name Christiana Fumeh was yesterday afternoon attacked by a man who resides at a nearby town called GhanaKpe in the Asuogyaman District of Eastern Region, when she was visiting her farm to harvest some palm nut.
With no provocation this man suddenly pounced on her injuring her shoulders, back and hand.
The youth upon hearing the news rushed to the bush and found him with two catlasses. “He looked too aggressive so we called for a reinforcement” one of the youth told in an interview.
“Before the reinforcement will come he has escaped, but we sent the night in bush and apprehended him this morning” he added.
