Greater Accra Regional Leader of Spiritual Faith Salvation Church (Gyidi), Pastor Daniel Atta Bawuah has called for collective support for the free Senior High School policy of the Akufo-Addo administration.
Speaking in an interview with Daily View Gh’s Dan Kwasi Prince on their annual convention at Kasoa –Accra , the regional pastor noted that the free SHS policy has benefited all Ghanaians, every Ghanaian child has access to quality education.
He explained that if not for the free SHS intervention, Ghanaian families would have found it difficult to send their children through the Senior High level and many students would have also had their dreams scattered because their parents can’t afford their tuition and other educational needs.
According to him there is no discrimination in the free SHS, hence no matter a person’s political affiliation, he or she is entitled to the same benefits.
“Free SHS policy is benefiting people like us from poor backgrounds, any president or government who comes to power and try to cancel the policy will face God’s wrath. In fact I will have a dry fasting and pray to God to punish that person severely”. He added.
