But Shatta Wale is a Dancehall Artist oooo… Not Afro-Beat.
For those who do not know, the Ghanaian dancehall champ is officially on the European road with his annual music tour and his first concert has already been classified as the biggest flopped show down in the Afro-beat’s history.
Timaya, Kcee & Bracket’s European tour DJ-Ike NaijaMostWanted took to my Facebook inbox to doom and condemned Shatta Wale’s first concert in Germany this year, held in Koln and in a club called “TruPlayaz” after having photos of the event published by me (Monte OZ). –
From the words of the Nigerian Germany based millionaire celebrity DJ-Ike; the venue “TruPlayaz” on which the dancehall act from Ghana allegedly performed as depicted in the photos wasn’t the actual location his concert should have happened. Besides, the crowd in the photos was just there to chill.
And I quote beneath the words of DJ Ike…
Just saw your report on Shatta wale in germany bro that’s the biggest flop in the history of afrobeat concert the pics you posted are all bullshit and just pics of him coming to Turplayz to chill with club crowd he never PERFOMEd in the hall he was meant to do the show and Turplayz only gave a chance to come in the club and chill and that’s why African artists needs a more professional managers to handle them. Get the facts from me when you need them on any concert in Europe.I know all about the show. The hall they meant to use was not paid for and they could not go in that’s when you work with kids. Can you imagine a whole Shatta ended up eating on a road side shop? Bull shit; He just killed his brand.”
This statement was actually the part one of DJ-Ike’s punchline after shinning a broad light on the whole incident. It also appeared DJ Ike proposed a deal which seemed a turn down by Shatta Wale & his team. According to the Nigerian DJ, he could have fixed Shatta Wale to rock a better show if they had attained mutual agreement.
I have been talking with this fool for a year to get him nice Shows but he ended up killing his brand. Now they are going to blame the NAIJA artists for getting big shows. – DJ Ike said so.
Another show has been scheduled for a new date (4th September 2015) for Ghana’s dancehall giant Shatta Wale. I know it’s not going to work out – DJ Ike.
