The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says his government under four years has implemented programmes and policies that have improved the lives of the Ghanaian youth.
President Akufo-Addo said youth-centred policies such as start-up capitals for businesses run by young people are evidence of government interventions to build the capacity of the country’s youth.
According to him, youth-centred policies like the Planting For Foods and Jobs, Youth In Afforestation and the start-up capitals for businesses run by young people et al have gone a long way to build and strengthen the capacity of the youth in Ghana.
The Akufo-Addo Government also introduced NABCO which is aimed at given temporal employment to thousands of graduates.
Touching on jobs, president Akufo Addo said the next government of the NPP will double up its steps in creating more jobs for the youth, pointing out that the party between 2017 and 2019 has created over two million direct and indirect jobs for the Ghanaian youth.
