Hon Frederick Opare Ansah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region, has donated over 100 bags of cement to some communities in his constituency to support self-help projects.

The incumbent MP donated 50 bags of cement to Jato, 10 bags to Sawa, 30 bags to Kwashia to support completion of ongoing schools projects in the constituency.

The MP said aside the donation made, he came to explained why there is the need for Ghanaians to votes for Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo to win the November polls in order to restore hope and turn the fortune of the economy from the mess the NDC government has imposes on Ghanaians.

He assured them of further donation whenever the need arose.

Hon Opare Ansah donated street bulbs to Akorabo community to lighten up their streets to ward off criminals.

Hon. Opare Ansah speaking to Journalists said he believes that since the youth are the mainstay and the bedrock of this our dear counttry and suhum in specific, he has done tremendously well to improve upon the educational facilities to enable suhum develop its manpower and human resources for the future.

On school structure, he has built a six classroom block at Afranso Dedewa, a three classroom block at obuotumpang, a six classroom block @ Nkatekwan Abomina, a  three classroom block each at Ntunkum and Obuodakar.

He stated that his outfit has lobbied the GETFUND to put up a six classroom block each at Anomasa, Adidiso and Brong – Densusu.

A community library has also been built for the pple of nankese. Still on structure, he donated 100bags of cement and 10packets for roofing sheets for the completion Suhum Presby J.H.S, roofed the Koransang school block.

He made the efforts for Suhum Islamic SHS to be adopted by the government.

On logistics, he has donated computers to all SHS in the constituency and to about 70 JHS schools including private school with the 3in1 colour canon printers. At the education directorate, and bought motobikes for all the curcuit supervisors in the constituency to help the deliver their work more efficiently
