Two people are reported to have died when a gas cylinder exploded at a fuel station at Ngleshie Amanfrom in Kasoa.
Several people are also believed to have sustained serious injuries from the blast which happened around 1 pm.
Eyewitnesses say that the explosion was caused by maintenance work on one of the cylinders at the station
One of them told Citi News: “We heard a huge sound and when we rushed to the scene we saw two bodies” This incident comes two months after the GOIL fuel station explosion at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle which claimed over 150 lives.
