I’m Not An Underground Artist – Kwaku Manu

Popular Ghanaian comedian and actor Kwaku Manu otherwise known as Bob Seager has advised music loving fans not to describe him as an underground artist since he has been in the ‘industry’ for quite a long time.

Ahead of the music video premiere of his new single Adoma which features Afropop group Gallaxy, Kwaku Manu told Amanda Jissih on E Talk that he doesn’t qualify to be classified as an underground especially when he had dropped some banging songs and movie sound tracks few years ago.

In 2011, Kwaku Manu dropped a fun filled single titled Wobete Kraw which became the toast of quite a number of people.

Asked if he will put his acting career on hold since he has taken to music seriously, the actor said he will keep both careers and master the music art which loves so much.

The actor turned musician is now signed to Harbour City records, home of music group Gallaxy and is set to stage a musical concert soon.

Kwaku Manu is not the first Ghanaian artist to add music to his career. Agya Koo, Mercy Asiedu and many others have music albums to their credit.
