Fourteen health staffs at Nsawam gov’t hospital honored for their generous contribution

With the vision of becoming center of excellence and provide specialist service to its constituents.

Nsawam gov’t hospital has a total staff strength of 881 including Nine(9) medical officers, Five(5) specialist, Two(2) Dentist, Two(2) Optometrist, Three(3) Doctors of pharmacy, Four(4) Physician assistants, Two(2) Medical and Medical Herbalist, 499 Nurses and midwives and 359 support service staff.

The nsawam gov’t hospital has awarded fourteen health workers and support staff at the annual staff and retiree awards and night for their outstanding contribution to the healthcare profession of the hospital within the Nsawam-Adoagyiri municipality of the eastern region of Ghana.

Nana Otuobour Djan Kwasi, Chief of Aburi, eastern regional health director, heads of various security agencies, leaders of both Muslim and Christian communities, some past staff of the N GH and other invited guest.

Mr. George Kweku Yeboah was presented with long service award having completed over 20 years of service within the healthcare sector.

Best clinician/prescribed, best nurse, best support staff, apprciation, best orderly/labourer were some various categories presented with awards ranging from flat screen TV’s and citations.

Dr. Acheampong Atta-Adu and madam Mariam Ayensua Adu won overall best worker and midwive respectively.

They both shared their joy of receiving these awards, thanked management and also encouraged other
colleagues.
