Afro-Arab Group Gifts Customized Fugu to Julius Malema

Accra, Ghana – The Afro-Arab Group of Companies, led by Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, extended a cultural gesture on January 23, 2024, as they presented Julius Malema, Leader and Founder of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), with a bespoke smock, locally known as “Afugu.”

In the midst of the Arise Save Ghana Now dialogue, Mr. Malema’s excitement was palpable as he received the intricately designed fugu, adorned with the vibrant colors emblematic of the Economic Freedom Fighters.

Ambassador Salamu Amadu, doubling as a Youth Ambassador for Peace and Development, underscored the significance of Mr. Malema’s influence on the youth across Africa, including himself.

The presentation, beyond a symbol of appreciation, reflects the Afro-Arab Group’s acknowledgment of Mr. Malema’s profound impact on the aspirations and dreams of the continent’s young generation.

In a reciprocal sentiment, Mr. Malema expressed gratitude during the ceremony, emphasizing the vital role of unity and collaboration among African nations.

He commended Ambassador Salamu Amadu and the Afro-Arab Group for their commitment to fostering pan-Africanism and solidarity.

Mr. Dickson Boadi, representing Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, had the honor of presenting the customized fugu to Mr. Julius Malema. In his remarks, Mr. Boadi praised Mr. Malema for his notable contributions to the African continent, reinforcing the depth of appreciation encapsulated in the cultural gift.
