Youth Bridge Foundation rallies youths support for Green Ghana Project

The Youth Bridge Foundation (YBF), has called on Ghana Youth to support and promote the Green Ghana Project to ensure its success.

According to the foundation, if the youth continues to push the program and build momentum through their communities and homes it will make the project a success.

“Sustainability is key to the success of the Green Ghana Project. To this end, the YBF need inculcate in the public, especially the youth, the Albert values of planting and nurturing trees.”

The government in April announced a plan to plant 5 million trees on July 11 under its Green Ghana Project.

In an interview with Joyce Nyame, Programs Coordinator Youth Bridge Foundation, stated that, “We encourage Ghanaians especially the youth to join hands with the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources as we go planting five million trees across the country.

“We of Youth Bridge Foundation (YBF), see the climate crisis as a form of war and creative projects like the Green Ghana Day offer us a unique opportunity to reconcile humanity with nature through restoration”.

The Youth Bridge Foundation has marked out sites for tree planting today, including; backyards, school compounds, residence and 100 metres away from roads.
