Ghana’s vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia paid an unannounced visit to the Registrar-General’s Department on Wednesday.

The aim for the visit was to get firsthand information about challenges facing prospective business owners and how speedily the government could address them and also make the country business friendly .

The Vice president met and interacted with many business owners who were at the department to register their businesses. He interacted with the acting Registrar General Mrs. Jemima Oware and her staff .

Dr. Bawumia pointed out that the government is hoping to use Rwanda as a “benchmark when it comes to registration businesses.
