The one-week celebration of ace comedian Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng, popularly called Bob Okala, was held at the Accra Arts Centre Friday.
The event brought together family, friends and well-wishers of the late humorist.
According to the family of Bob Okala, the late comedian has paid his dues in the comedy industry and thus deserves a state burial.
The comedian’s wife and children including some of his family members also requested from the government, to give their beloved deceased a state burial because of his devoted time to the National Democratic Congress party (NDC) during the campaign.
meanwhile, the funeral rites of Bob Okala will be held from May 6 to May 8, 2016.
