The management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has begun releasing enrolment PIN Codes for prospective national service personnel for the 2016/2017 service year.
A statement issued in Accra today and signed by the Acting Executive Director, Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte, said prospective national service personnel especially final year Ghanaian students in accredited tertiary institutions in Ghana and abroad can visit the NSS website www.nss.gov.gh and under the “Applications” menu, use the index numbers assigned by their educational institutions to obtain the unique NSS code.
According to the statement, the enrolment PIN Codes for NSS applicants who for one reason or the other could not undertake their service obligations in the previous years would be released later after various processes of verification are completed.
The statement concludes by indicating that information about the enrolment procedures can be found at www.nss.gov.gh and also reminds all prospective national service personnel that the Scheme would not enroll anyone after April 30, 2016.
