The 2nd Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Member of Parliament (MP) for Nadowli/Kaleo constituency, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has called on the NPP government to do what is needful by paying off the aggrieved customers of Menzgold whose investments have been locked up in the company.
According to him, government is the cause of many problems facing menzgold customers and the company itself.
Who will not believe to invest in Menzgold if he or she saw the President and other state officials taking pictures with Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of the company? They will think that he is doing a genuine business. They contributed a lot to their dubious activities, he stressed
“We shouldn’t politicize these issues, it misuse of power if the government says it will not use tax payers money to pay off their money.
Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Programme, he stated that government will be acting with impunity if he refuses to pay off the affected customers. Don’t forget that they are the very people who voted him into power,” he stressed
Touching on the NDCs presidential primaries, he gave strong indication that he will emerge victorious.
“I am a winner….you know I am a winner because when I am committed to something, I devote my everything to it and with the help of God I always win.”
