The Eastern regional youth organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Haruna Apaw Wiredu has indicated that the Mahama-led government cannot win the 2016 general elections.
Haruna Appaw who is also the NDC Parliamentary candidate for New Juaben North constituency made the disclosure when addressing some NDC branch and ward executives and other members of the party at an end of year get together held at Leesco restaurant in Koforidua.
According to him, the party does not have what it takes to winning the 2016 elections.
“If anyone tells you today that the NDC can win the 2016 elections, then that person doesn’t know what he’s talking about” he said.
President John Mahama when addressing executives of his party whilst presenting his nomination forms at the last year September presidential and parliamentary primaries of the party told NDC faithful that he was going to deliver one touch victory for the NDC.
However, the Eastern regional youth organizer of the NDC believes the Party cannot win the elections easily as promised by President John Mahama.
