I’m sad, heartbroken by Bukom Banku’s defeat – Sarkodie

Rapper, Sarkodie is not a happy man. He is sad that his favourite boxer, Bukom Banku was defeated by Bastie Samir on Saturday.

The rapper said he is heartbroken by the defeat and he suspects that the popular boxer wasn’t fit for the bout.

Bastie Samir stopped Bukom Banku in round 7 of their scheduled 12 round non-title bout in front of a huge crowd at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Saturday night.

It was the first defeat, a humiliating one at that, in the career of the popular fighter, who is a former WBO Africa Cruiserweight champion.

Bukom Banku simply struggled to find his feet during most parts of the bout.

Born Brimah Kamoko, the boxer, who had promised to knock out the Bastie in the 6^th round, was no match for him.

Sharing his disappointment with the outcome of the bout, Sarkodie tweet that, “Woke up Sad … biggest bukom banku fan and I’m heartbroken…”

“… he wasn’t looking fit for this bout ” the award-winning rapper added.
