Comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger has disclosed that but for her open support for the NDC and John Mahama, she would still have been working with Despite Media owners of Peace FM, Okay FM and other radio and television stations.
According to her, Despite gave her GHC 300,000 for her move to the media entity and also paid her GHC 10,000 monthly to ensure that she was comfortable.
What is known in the public space is that Afia Schwarzenegger abandoned the NDC because of Free SHS policy the ruling NPP under the administration of Nana Akufo-Addo implemented.
According to Afia, her children have enjoyed Free SHS, she wants everyone else to also enjoy it hence the decision for this new change of heart to join the NPP.
In her new video, Schwarzenegger has replied the insult revealing that she is a hungry celebrity because she supported the NDC.
It was in her explanation that the controversial Schwarzenegger disclosed that the NDC cost her to lose her job at Despite Media.
Meanwhile, she is said to have been compensated with some money and a car after the contract was terminated.
