The Flag bearer of the Convention People’s Party, Mr. Kobina Ivor Greenstreet has charged electorates not to judge him by his physical disability but his competence to move the country forward.
According to him, his government will empower persons living with physical challenges and ensure strict enforcement of all disability laws in the country.
He said this on Saturday during introduction of Parliamentary candidates for the party in Upper many a, Lower Manya, Asuogyaman and Okere constituencies to party executives and supporters at Agormanya in the Lower manya constituency .
Mr Greenstreet said in world history, there has been a precedence where a physically challenged person became President of a country, citing the election of the former US president, Franklin Roosevelt,a physically challenged, who became US President during a time of war.
Mr. Greenstreet also took the opportunity to interact with market women and traders at the Agormanya market.
