The Management of the Despite Group of Companies has rendered an unqualified apology to owner of Ken City media, Kennedy Agyapong for the recent attacks by one of their presenters, Valentina Afia Agyeiwaa popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger.
The popular female presenter took the Assin Central MP to the cleaners and subjected him to public ridicule for allegedly insulting her.
Mr. Agyapong in a riposte also replied Afia Schwarzenegger equal measure which went viral on various social media platforms.
The Despite Group in a statement issued in Accra Tuesday condemned the conduct of their presenter in no uncertain terms and apologized to its listeners.
“The structure of the Despite Group of Companies is not to malign, denigrate, insult or condone and support acts of insults against personalities in society”.
“We hereby extend our unequivocal apology to the general public, Oman FM, Honourable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and all other persons who may have been scandalized or have suffered in any way as a result of this incident” the statement said.
