Police at Nungua the in Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipality of the Greater Accra Region have arrested a serial car snatcher in Accra and its environs who operates with multiple names.
The suspect currently in police detention goes by names like Rockson, Senyo, Francis, Dzigbodi, Edem, and Wisdom among others according to the police was arrested him upon a tip off.
His modus operandi they revealed is that, he poses as a welder and claim to be looking for job and immediately he is employed at a mechanic shop, he targets unregistered cars and runs away with them.
He is reported to have done that until luck eluded him when an official complaint was lodged with the police leading to his arrest from his hideout.
The suspect is billed to be arraigned before court this week but the police is appealing to the persons who have fallen victim to his activities to officially lodge complaints.
