New promotional outfit, Kurrency Boxing Promotions has signed promising Ghanaian boxers Daniel Quaye alias “High Tension”( Lightweight), Issifu Sulley (Super Featherweight) and Stephen Coffie ( Lightweight) who were discovered by Bronx Boxing Gym.
In an address after signing the contract documents at the at Bronx Boxing Gym in James Town – Accra, Mr. Bright Aboagye, President and CEO of Kurrency Boxing Promotions, explained that his outfit was ready to invest in exceptional performers.
“We believe these signings would motivate the other fighters participating in leagues to give of their best so they can also be considered,” said Mr Aboagye in the presence of officials of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) as well as representatives of the boxers’ gyms.
“We see a lot of potential and hunger in this three boxers and as a firm, we intend to nurture them to bring a world title to Ghana. I can assure you they will take the world by storm”, he said.
In their response, the three boxers thanked the promotional outfit for showing interest in them and promised to continue working hard.
