Rapper Pop Smoke, real name Bashar Jackson, has been killed in an attempted robbery at his Hollywood Hills home, it has been reported.
The rapper was said to have been shot by trespassers, according to TMZ.
It has been reported that the rapper was at home on Wednesday morning at 4:30am when two men wearing masks got into the property.
The men were reportedly seen fleeing the home on foot, according to the publication.
Despite being rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Pop Smoke was pronounced dead.
Tributes for the rapper have poured in with Nicki Minaj commenting: ‘The Bible tells us that jealousy is as cruel as the grave.
