Following his stellar performances in the month of June, goalkeeper Kwame Osei has broken all records and claimed Inter Allies Player of the Month award.
Being the first goalkeeper to claim this accolade, Osei managed to pull three clean sheets from six games played in the said month (Five league games and one Elite Cup game).
The 20-year-old safest pair of hands produced heroic saves in these games and conceded only three goals, which resulted in three wins and three draws.
‘I must admit that I am a little bit shocked but I am over the moon. To be completely honest I couldn’t have done it without the rest of the lads and the management staff as well,” he told www.interalliesfc.com
“As much as this is an individual award, it has been a team effort and I think that the whole team deserve a lot of credit because had it not been for all of them defending as well as we have done there is absolutely no way that I would have been chosen, I am absolutely delighted.’
