The Author who once served as a personal chaplain of former president of the nation the late professor Evans Fiifi Atta Mills is also a member of the Board of Directors of Imperial General Assurance Company Limited, African Enterprise Ghana, AD & Associates Limited.
Rev. Nii Amoo Darku is also member of the Governing Board of NADMO.
Furthermore, he previously served as Former Vice President of Ghana Baptist Convention.
Meanwhile the event which is scheduled to take place on Saturday February 23 will see some notable bodies including the Christian Council, the Clergy, Pentecostal Council and many more.
The media including television, radio, print and online would lead an open forum session after a presentation by the various general secretaries of the Councils on the topic ‘the mission of the church-seeking the kingdom of God’.
On the other hand, Rev. Dr. Nii Amoo Darku is hoping for a call for a possible national dialogue in a form of a national Congress during the forum to further the discussion on the true identify of the church.
The Reverend Doctor has also made efforts to explain the role of the church in the progressive building of our nation.
This was followed by a series of meetings he arranged between the Clergy and the late president Evans Fiifi Atta Mills at the Peduase Lodge and the Osu castle which was then the seat of government.
