During a recent visit to UK, Jay Z was interviewed by BBC Radio 1’s Clara Amfo.
Jay spoke about his new album ‘4:44,’ his daughter Blue Ivy’s freestyle, social media, being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Donald Trump and a lot more.
He also delivered a BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance. Joined by longtime engineer, Young Guru and a choir, Hov performed ‘Family Feud‘ off his new album and ‘Numb/Encore‘ dedicated to the late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington.

Clara Amfo is a dynamic young broadcaster who can currently be heard on Radio 1.
Starting out her radio career at KISS FM UK presenting the overnight show,she quickly ascended to the Saturday Breakfast and then drive time show,reaching audiences of 1 million on a weekly basis.
Her work earned her a prestigious Sony Radio Award nomination for ‘Rising Star’, where industry judges said “her energy, understanding and obvious love of radio was absolutely infectious”.
Never afraid of a big crowd,she hosted Crisis Presents at The Hammersmith Apollo,as well as The Transformation Trust’s annual Rock Assembly at London’s 02 Arena to an audience of 16,000.
In September 2013, she joined BBC Radio 1Xtra to present the weekend breakfast show. Since joining she hit the ground running by making a series of artist focused documentaries from their annual 1Xtra Live event as well as presenting from The MOBO Awards red carpet coverage.
In January 2015,Clara began her stint as the new presenter of The Official Chart on BBC Radio 1,in May she joined the Radio 1 weekday schedule taking over the prestigious “10-1 and Live Lounge” slot.
As well radio,this year has seen Clara present the BBC Three coverage of Radio 1’s Big Weekend,T in The Park and Glastonbury festival.
