Ghana’s Black Stars will play against Rwanda in September at the newly constructed 15,000-seater Cape Coast stadium in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Black Stars defeated the Amavubi by 1-0 in Kigali last year and will welcome them on September 2.
Group H has the Black Stars leading the pack with 10 points from four games and before the last game at home the team will play Mauritius on June 5.
Sport minister Nii Lante Vanderpuije has revealed that the last home game against Rwanda will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium in consultation with the Ghana FA.
“The next Black Stars match will be played at the Cape Coast stadium but will consult the GFA on the decision.
“The last time we played in Accra Sports stadium the players complained on the quality of the turf so we want to give them the best”, Vanderpuije told reporters.
