A woman has invoked curses on her friend with her private part after she was accused of stealing GHȼ 4.00 in a salon at Awutu Bereku in the central region.
Narrating her ordeal to Daily View Gh’s ’ Kofi Adjei, Esi said she only went to her friend who is a hair dresser to fix her hair when the incident occurred.
She noted that, a sister of her friend whose name was given as Aisha complained of her missing money but the hairdresses quickly accused her of stealing it.
“I went to my friend’s place to plait my hair but she told me she didn’t have comb and therefore directed me to her sister Aisha who later accused me of stealing her 4 cedis which I knew nothing about” Esi fumed.
Esi said the accusations later turned into a scuffle between them where she had no option than to strip naked and invoke curses to prove her innocence.
“I knew I didn’t steal the money so in order to prove that I’m indeed not guilty, I went naked on the streets and crawled on the ground with my back and I started invoking curses. I only asked the gods on our land to prove that I am innocent” she said.
But a fetish priest of Awutu Bereku, Nana Banafo who saw the conducts of these women as appalling fined both of them a half create of eggs, a schnapp and a GHȼ 70.00 each in order to pacify the gods of the land.
Meanwhile, Esi who insists her womanhood as well as her reputation has been damaged vowed to deal with her accuser (Aisha) if she does not compensate her for accusing her wrongly.
“Aisha has really disgraced me because I know within me that I am innocent and so till she apologizes to me, I will continue stripping naked and cursing her because she has damaged my reputation” she cried.
