The ‘Ekiki Me’ hit maker appeared in court on Wednesday after more than two months of being absent.

His lawyer, Jerry Avenogbor, pleaded with the court to rescind the bench warrant placed on his head.

The prosecutor, Judith Asante, however, prayed the court to remand him in custody for failing to appear before the court and disrespecting the authority of the court.

The case was adjourned to August 12, 2016.
