The chief coach of the Super Eagles and first assistant during the World Cup who was due to lead the national team to the Olympics in 2020 has been captured by Ghana’s undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas receiving bribes to influence player selection.
Coach Salisu Yusuf according to the video that has been released by the BBC was seen in a meeting with purported agents of the players who he received money from to field in the team.
Sources reveal that the video has been handed to the Nigerian Football Federation
According to the BBC, the footage was captured by Anas Aremeyaw Anas in September 2017
This comes barely a month after a similar scandal hit the Ghana Football Association which senior members were caught receiving bribes and other things which led to the dissolution of the GFA
