Hiplife act, Tic Tac says he is bigger than Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.

Of course yes but I don’t want us to talk about that” said the ‘Philomena‘ star to Lexis Bill on Drive Time on Joy FM Monday.

The two acts have been saying unsavory words about each other in recent weeks mainly over who is relevant or better than the other.

Wale in an interview on Delay said the hiplife act born Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah was not ‘smart‘ during the peak of his career.

He also claimed that the likes of Duah, VVIP, Obrafour and Lord Kenya are broke now because they lived extravagant lives in their prime, and also didn’t help those in need.

Wale, however supported Duah’s decision to walk off the set of a live Television show last week Friday.

The latter walked off the set of GhToday on GhOneTV Friday morning during his interview with Baisiwa Dowuona-Hammond because Shatta Wale’s music video was being played.

are we showing Shatta’s video? because I’m talking about him? I have new videos that we show be showing,” asked a visibly disappointed Duah. “We cannot show Shatta’s video while I’m here talking about him. I didn’t come here to promote Shatta Wale.” added the artiste as he walked off set.

Wale supported the decision with a post on Facebook Friday afternoon.

I THINK TICTAC REALLY MADE THE BEST MOVE EVER,THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT.WE SHOULD RESPECT AN ARTISTE WHEN HE IS YOUR STUDIOS OR ON PHONE TALKING” reads part of his statement.

Tic Tac and Shatta Wale have been going at each other in recent weeks over who is relevant or better than the other.

Days after a court awarded a GHS300,000 lawsuit in his favour against Supermarket chain, Melcom for the illegal use of his image, the former claimed Wale’s curse helped him.

If you say God should punish me, I’m a child of God and, yes, he has punished me with GHS300k overnight. He said that and I think a day after, I got the judgement.” said Duah during an interview on Accra 100.5 FM’s Entertainment Capital with DJ Premier.

He also spoke about his status compared to that of Wale.

“It is because of something, if not Shatta cannot be compared to me because he is not anywhere near my level. I created history back in the day in Nigeria. You pride yourself that you have been successful but if you couldn’t even continue what I did beyond the shores of Ghana, to even Nigeria, I am the one who should be angry at you for not being able to raise Ghana music. You have tried and been unsuccessful and you should have come to seek counsel and ask what we did for Nigerians to kowtow to us, because we went to conquer them back in their yard.

In a separate incident, he called on Ghana Police Service to arrest Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale for publicly firing a gun.

The former told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, the law should be applied regards Wale’s action which he calls a criminal offense.

“This is not a joke. Do we want to lose lives before we take it seriously? This is a country where laws work and we must put them to use in this case. Let’s use the law.”

A few days ago, a video of Wale shooting a gun was posted online. In the video, he mentioned the names of Nigerian artistes, Wizkid, Patoranking and Timaya whilst firing the shots.
