Mr Fuseini Issah, member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has adopted his imprisonment following the 2016 general elections, as a campaign message to contest the NPP Parliamentary seat in Okai Koi North.
The campaign, which herald the roadmap towards the change of government in the coming election, is expected to rein in the hearts of his constituents and Ghanaians in general, who have been disillusioned by the economic hardship brought on them by the present government.
The cum procurement Fuseini says Ghana is in an economic quagmire that would take a visionary and experienced leadership to ameliorate the untold hardship meted on Ghanaians as a result of bad social and economic governance.
He said the only remedy to the situation the country found himself, was for Ghanaians to vote massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Flagbearer of the NPP to assume the reins of power and implement prudent and pragmatic policies that would take the country out of its present economic recession.
Fuseini Issah noted that it was now common knowledge that the NDC government, led by President John Mahama, was clueless as to providing the “Better Ghana” it promised Ghanaians and had rather reversed all the critical and worthy interventions the NPP government put in place to better the lot of the economy and the people.
He said the NDC government’s habitual boast of expanding infrastructural development across the country were just smokescreens to loot the coffers of the State, explaining that the cost of those projects do not tally with unbridled borrowings and humongous debts accrued by the moribund administration.
“I dare them to cost the projects and we will all see how badly they will be exposed,” he said..
