A victim of the Tema Robbery incident sayshe suspects the robbers have an informant at the Zenith Bank Branch at the Tema Municipal Assembly who relayed information to them upon which they acted on.
The victim who gave his name as Mashood said “this is not the first time a robbery incident has taken place and it’s the same motor they used to rob the Chinese man. I think the robbers have somebody in the branch who feeds them with Information. Authorities need to check that Bank very well,” he told Adom FM.
He mentioned that although all the robbers have been declared dead after they exchanged fire in a shootout with the police, he could not get his money as the money scattered and was scrambled over by people close to the scene.
Mashood said he made away with GHC 2,500 out of the One Hundred and Twenty Three Cedis (GHC123,000) he and his brother went to withdraw to pay for their frozen foods.
Two suspected armed robber met their untimely death after their robbery attack was foiled by the Police who engaged them in a shootout.
The two according to reports attacked two businessmen who had gone to withdraw an amount of GHC 123,000 to pay for frozen food.
