Liverpool midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain out of World Cup

England’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will miss the World Cup this summer after injuring a knee during Liverpool’s Champions League tie against Roma. The 24-year-old midfielder was taken off on a stretcher in the 15th minute of Tuesday’s match at Anfield after challenging Aleksandar Kolarov. He had a scan on Wednesday which revealed a knee ligament injury. 2 Ghanaian athletes disappear from 2018 Commonwealth Games

The Badminton Association of Ghana has confirmed that two of the athletes sent to the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia, ran away from camp and did not return with the contingent.
