    Sports Journalist Juliet Bawuah exits TV3

    Young Ghanaian female Sports Journalist Juliet Bawuah has resigned from TV3.

    In a post on her personal Facebook page Monday, Bawuah, who joined TV3 in July, 2013 said her exit “marked an end to an exciting yet challenging journey that started over two years ago.”

    “Last week, I resigned officially from my Broadcast Journalist job at TV3. The decision to exit was a tough one but I had to all the same….I am grateful to the management and my former colleagues for the incredible time spent.”

    The opportunity to work for a successful local brand as TV3, Bawuah said “even made it more difficult for me to walk away. Special thanks to all who contributed in one way or the other to make my time with TV3 a pleasant one. I appreciate your support and show of love.

    “I thank God for the provision of strength, and grace. In the next few days, I will begin the process of working towards a different chapter in my very young media career.”

    One of Ghana’s most promising young journalists, Bawuah has over the years built a decent career that has seen her become an on-air favourite of many.

    In the past, she worked with Goal.com, CITI FM and the Globe Newspaper, as well as Cafonline.com, Metro TV, and ETV. She’s also appeared as contributor on several international networks including the BBC.

    Bawuah holds qualifications from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and African University College of Communication. She is also an alumna of the Radio Nederland Training Centre (RNTC).
