Controversial musician Shatta Wale has reminded President John Dramani Mahama and the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo that tomorrow is his birthday and he will be expecting gifts from them.
Known in his private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, Shatta turns 32 on Monday.
The self-proclaimed Dancehall King tweeted: “Nana akuffo addo and president Mahama please tomorrow is my birthday so am waiting for my land cruiser and Envelope..pleasseee”
The two politicians have used Shatta Wale’s songs during their ongoing campaigns for the 2016 elections although he has denied selling any of his songs for that purpose.
President Mahama has favoured Shatta’s hit song “Mahama Paper” while Akufo Addo has made entrances to campaign grounds to another banger titled “Kakai”.
