Seven year old Emmanuel Ameyaw from sefwi Akontomra got his whole skin peeling off after taking medication prescribed for him by a doctor, Daily View Gh has learnt.
He was allegedly given the exact medical prescription from the doctor at Sefwi Akontomra Hospital.
His mother explained that her son was ill and she took him to the hospital. After taking the medication prescribed by the doctor the body of her son got burnt, with his skin peeling off.
“He cannot walk and talk agains, she said in an interview on local radio.
The boy is currently on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi after the incident at the Akontomra hospital.
Emmanuel Ameyaw, we learnt is battling for his life, following which he was moved from the Sefwi Akontomra hospital in the Western region of Ghana to Komfo Anokye.
