The 2015 City People Entertainment Awards was held over the weekend on the 16th August, 2015 at the Timesequare Event Center in Ikeja and Chris Handler of Ghbase.com was present at the event to witness the award ceremony.
As a blogger, it’s prudent that you travel out sometimes, to witness other award ceremonies held elsewhere, so you can better know if your country is doing a good job or better learn some lessons from such other award ceremonies.
The City People Entertainment Awards is a Nigerian Award show and has ben running for the past 6 years now. The Award ceremony nominates Ghanaians in the music, movie, tv, radio and even online.
Been present at the ceremony exposed me to a whole lot and I have learnt a lot about Nigerian awards. Was the the City People Awards Interesting? In my own OPINION, it was very boring for me. I would talk about that in another article as I intend to just let you about who won what from Ghana.
The list was delayed because the full list of Ghanaian winners were all not announced that same night. Some were announced and the rest came out yesterday.
Which Ghanaian Celebrities were present?
Well, Juliet Ibrahim was present and she won an award. Her sister, Sonia Ibrahim was also present and then also Victoria Micheals was also present. She also won an award.
