The three were said to have been trapped in the inferno. The victims included a 17 year old, whose name was only given as Lydia.
Lydia was writing her Basic Education Examination Certificate (BECE) and was due to finish today but was killed by the fire together with her mum and a house help.
It took the police homicide unit quite a time to retrieve their charred body.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known but neighbours suspected it may have started from the kitchen and later engulfed the entire apartment.
