Two police officers were Thursday afternoon shot by suspected armed robbers who were operating at Lapaz in Accra.
The suspects, who were on a motorbike, were said to have stolen an unregistered vehicle.
The incident occurred at about 1pm around the Las Palmas restaurant, Daily view Gh gathered.
The eyewitnesses helped to convey the two injured police officers to the hospital before a re-enforcement arrived.
One of the police officers reportedly died later.
