Amankrado of Ga Sempe Traditional area, Nii Addo Nmai I has slams criticizes over Rev. Obofour enstoolment as a chief.
According to him Obofour enstoolment as a chief was a decision made by Nii Adotey Otintor II who doubles as the acting President of Ga Traditional Council and his elders.
Nii Addo Nmai stated that he doesn’t see any problem about Obofour call up as some Ghanaians has taken it in a different way.
We want Accra especially Ga Sempe to be one of the greatest cities in Ghana and that achievement involves great men like him.
“We all have accepted the sustainable development goals and we must all contribute to its achievement with as little as we can do,” Is just that some Ghanaians don’t understand tradition.
I like the thoughts by Ghanaians but with time we should watch out for great things we are about to start in Accra and it’s environs before you judges us. We pledge and defend the good name of Ga Sempe and Ghana.
Over the weekend, the Head Pastor of the Anointed Palace Chapel (APC) was enstooled as a Ga Sempe Mantse at Bortianor in Accra and can now respond to Nii Adotey Gyata 1 (his stool name).
According to the Bortianor traditional community, the decision to enstooled Obofour as a chief is to appreciate his philanthropic activities and significant impact on the community.
The enstooling ceremony happened within two days for the traditional rites to be performed. On day one, Rev Obofour was picked up on Saturday evening by men from the Bortianor traditional council, and on Sunday, he was out doored at a mini-festival.
