The Ashanti regional Police command will today parade three suspected armed robbers who shot and killed a wayside fuel Merchant Wednesday dawn at Kotwe for identification.

42-year-old Anthony Drobo was shot in the thigh, beaten with cutlasses and sticks to death at Kotwe on the Kumasi Obuasi road and made away with an unspecified amount of money and mobile phones.

Assistant Public Relations Officer for the regional Police Command, Superintendent Godwin Aheanyo in an interview with Daily View Gh said the suspected robbers have been arrested.

He added that a manhunt is also underway for other accomplices namely Survivor and Papa Gyan, a fire wood seller who happens to be the financier of the armed robbers.

According to Superintendent Aheanyo, the three suspects arrested are Addae Kojo 18, a Driver’s mate, alias “Chief”, Moses Afuah 19, a Potter, and Kofi Emmanuel 22, a food vendor all based at Asafo BB.

Emmanuel has, however, been identified by the wife of the deceased one of the attackers.
