Four persons have reportedly been arrested for their alleged involvements in an attack on a police station in the Volta Region.
Security sources say they arrested today at Ajasikan through a joint operation by the Ghana navy and police team.
The four are said to have played several roles in the attack on Aveyime police station.
A company of policemen is seen marching through a pathway in a bush with a man suspected to be a member of the secessionist group to where he had buried the rifles.
The North Tongu District arm of the Formed Police Unit (FPU) after the attacks by the group retrieved two police vehicles and an AK-47.
Updating Ghanaians on the matter, the Ghana Police Service said the stolen weapons were retrieved on Friday, September 25, 2020.
The police, however, assured Ghanaians that the situation was under control.
