President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday joined the family, friends and sympathizers of late Bob Okala, to pay their last respects to the legendary comedian.

The 59-year old passed away on March 13, 2016 at the Koforidua Government Hospital, after a short illness.

Accompanied by the President were some state officials, key among them, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts and Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the Minister of Communications.

He said Bob Okala brought joy to many homes through his stand-up comedy.
