Deputy finance minister and Member of Parliament (MP) for Atiwa East in the Eastern Region Hon Abena Osei Asare, has donated Gh¢ 5,000 to help charity activities as her way of giving back to society.

The donation was aimed at helping to resource the Asamang Tamfoe community project.

The presence of the ceremony was the former MP, Charles Yaw Brempong-Yeboah, Ernest Osae Botah, Clement Abora, and Stephen Gyamera.

The Member of Parliament Abena Osei Asare, handed over the cheque for the GH¢ 5,000 and 10 boxes of street light to the assembly man of the Asamang Tamfoe, Moseaso and Mampong Ernest Adade Wiredu, at a short ceremony at the town Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

Gratitude

Receiving the cheque on behalf of the Asamang Tamfoe community, Ernest Adade Wiredu thanked the MP for its generosity.

Mr. Adade Wiredu used the opportunity to call on the government to extend a helping hand to the community project to enable them to cater for twos burns effectively.
