CAL Bank Limited is a Ghana-based bank engaged in banking and it’s related activities.
The Bank whose segments include Corporate Banking, which provides loans and other credit facilities is set to end the 2018 calendar year with thanksgiving.
The “Du’a(Islamic Thanksgiving)” was held on Friday 14th December 2018 whiles the Christian non denominational service was done on sunday.
Staff of the bank gathered at their new multipurpose head office in Accra to thank God for seeing the bank through its challenges as well as meeting most of their targets for the year 2018.
The Greater Accra regional staff of the bank clad in their white dresses with a touch yellow, sing and dance in what was an emotional yet exciting and jubilant service.
Theme for this year’s service was; “Ceaseless Praise”.
Some Staff of the bank who hard served in various roles for ten years and more were also honoured at the service.
The sermon was delivered by the head pastor of KICC Ghana, Pastor Andy Yawson, delivering his sermon he encouraged the staff of the bank to be grateful to God in all areas of their lives.
In his end-of-year message to the staff, the Managing Director of Calbank, Frank Adu Jnr., also thanked God for sustaining the bank in what has been a difficult year for the industry.
Calbank meets BoG’s minimum capital requirement.
The Managing Director of the bank also announced that Cal bank has officially met the minimum capital retirement set by the Bank of Ghana, which is currently at 400 million.
Mr. Franklin Adu Jnr. also thanked his staff for the commitment and hard work in the year under review.
“I am pleased to announce to you that due to your hard work and commitment, we have met the minimum capital requirement of the bank”
Bank won’t shield customers, staff caught in fraud
Mr. Frank Adu Jnr however gave a strong indication that the bank will not shield any staff or customer engaged in any form of fraud.
