EIB Network CEO, Nathan Kwabena Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray and CEO of UniBank Ghana, Dr. Kwabena Duffour Jnr have gifted Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, otherwise known as Shatta Wale in the musical circles a brand new G- Wagon.
The vehicle was handed over to the Star by Bola Ray.
The award winning dancehall artiste who celebrated his birthday on October 18, couldn’t hide his joy as he posted on his Facebook Timeline to show gratitude for the gesture.
“GRATEFUL TO DR KWABENA DUFFUOR JNR AND BOLA RAY FOR THIS WONDERFUL DREAM TOY “G-WAGON” AS MY BIRTHDAY GIFT EIB RECORDS IS BORN.THE WORLD SHOULD GET READY,EXCITING TIMES AHEAD,” HE WROTE ON FACEBOOK.
Shatta Wale requested for a Land Cruiser vehicle from President John Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo as his birthday gift a day before his birthday.
The artiste, who has declared his non-partisanship position ahead of the 2016 polls said in a Facebook post on Sunday that he also expects an ‘envelope’ from the two political leaders.
“NANA AKUFO-ADDO AND PRESIDENT MAHAMA PLEASE TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY SO AM WAITING FOR MY LAND CRUISER AND ENVELOPE…PLEASSEEE,” HE WROTE.
A day after his birthday, Shatta Wale joined his fans, kids and market women at Nima to share some quality time with them. The Shatta Movement crew went around the streets of Accra to make the dreams of some fans come true.
Fans who met Shatta Wale for the first time could not hide their joy as they hugged and chanted his name. Some fans were also presented with gifts and assorted drinks upon seeing their hero.
The dancehall artiste again made a stop at the Nima market, where he interacted and took pictures with the market women as well as some kids.
