Popular Ghanaian Movie Star, Agya Koo, paid a courtesy call on the New Patriotic Party’s Flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, at his Nima residence, today (September 22, 2016) to formally inform him of his decision to support his candidature for this year’s elections.
At a press conference held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 the award-winning actor and his team pledged their support to the NPP hence launched a 57% win campaign for the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
According to Agya Koo, Ghanaians are faced with unprecedented precarious economic hardships which have consequently led to job losses and high unemployment rate, poor healthcare provision and cut-throat utility bills.
He disclosed that aside his movies which is currently not doing well as a result of the poor economic conditions, he is a parent and knows how expensive it is to give his children quality education in this country.
