Oppong Nkrumah replaces Mustapha Hamid as spokesperson for NPP transition team

The Member of Parliament (MP) elect for the Ofoase Ayirebi constituency, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has been appointed the new spokesperson for the New Patriotic Party’s transition team.

The leader of the NPP transition team, Yaw Osafo-Marfo disclosed this to journalists on Monday in Accra but did not attribute any reason for the switch.

Oppong Nkrumah, a former broadcaster will now speak on all issues concerning the dealings of the NPP Transition Team while Hamis will revert back to his role as the spokesperson of the President-elect Nana Akufo Addo.

The Ofoase Ayirebi MP-elect will be part of the next parliament which begins work on January 6, after polling 17,141 votes during the general elections to win that seat.
