Daily View Gh has gathered that the Western Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), who doubles as a presidential staffer, Charles Bissue, and the NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa-Nsuaem in the region, George Mireku Duker, on Monday engaged in fisticuffs in the presence of the National Campaign Manager of the party, Peter Mac Manu.
In the process, Mr. Bissue was reported to have ‘chewed’ the middle finger of the right hand of the MP.
According to sources, Mr Mireku Duker and Charles Bissue have not been on good terms since the latter allegedly supported an independent candidate over the incumbent during the parliamentary primaries.
The report further indicates that, during the meeting, there was a misunderstanding between the MP and the regional party executive.
The pictures has since gone viral but Its unclear if he suffered some beatings from the MP which resulted in him biting him or a fresh attack.
However, Mr Duker confirmed the incident in an interview with the media on Monday evening, indicating that he was receiving treatment at the hospital after the altercation.
But he declined to give further details about what led to the alleged fight due to a directive given from the party hierarchy.
The photos below are that of Charles Bissue which shows his disfigured face which has eyes slightly shut with other bruises.
